SAHR has initiated its first peace mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The delegation represents Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and will meet MPs, government officials and dignitaries and civil society on 5 – 6 December 2015.
The objective of the mission is to to give prominence to women’s contribution in building peace and also to bring women into the mainstream security discourse.
The Mission is currently at the State University of Dhaka, speaking to students and faculty of the department of Law.
