South Asians for Human Rights (SAHR) and the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) presented an Oral Statement at the 30th Regular Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council on the Universal Periodic Review outcome for the Maldives. SAHR and ICJ called upon the Government of Maldives to “accept and implement UPR recommendations on judicial independence and the rule of law.”
