Kathmandu, Nepal: Around three dozen noted human rights activists have been detained for staging a protest in front of the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu against the border blockade on Thursday.

Police arrested the human right activist including noted rights activist, Krishna Pahadi while a group of Human right activist had gathered in front of the Lajimpat based Indian embassy to protest the border blockade on the occasion of 67th Human Rights Day.

During the demonstration, the right activist had chanted slogans against the Indian government for imposing border blockade to Nepal.    The activist had staged the demonstration with placards of  ‘Modi ji, end blockade respect Nepal’s sovereignty, blockade is violation of human right and others.
