A side event on “Enforced Disappearances in Sri Lanka” at the 30th session of the Human Rights Council on 18 September at Room XXll in Palais des Nations, Geneva.   Mrs. Sandhya Ekneligoda,  Ms. Varthana Suntharajah representing victim families and Fr. Yogeswaran, an activist lawyer working on enforced disappearances were among panelists at the event. Dr. Nimalka Fernando, President of  IMADR and Co-chair of SAHR moderated the panel.

This event was organized by the International Movement against all Forms of Discrimination and Racism (IMADR) with Asian Federation against Involuntary Disappearances (AFAD), Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA), Franciscans International and Minority Rights Group International.
